Xu Wang is a senior designer with vast international and local experience in large architectural and urban design projects, he is especially skilled in the design of large scale mixed-use commercial schemes and luxury hotels. In the past 10 years, he has worked on award-winning campus master plans and the architectural design of high-end commercial high-rise towers, mixed-use residential complexes, luxury high-rise residential buildings, and large corporate headquarters. He began practicing at ZNA Associates, Inc. in 2002 and has since then also worked for Jung Brannan Associates, Inc. and Stubbins Associates, Inc. as both Junior Designer and Job Captain before rejoining ZNA.

Mr. Wang's design career focuses on the creation of new living environments adaptable to the needs and lifestyles of future generations. His architecture implements the use of advancement to both traditional and contemporary design challenges. Living in a generation executing in the vanguard of contemporary design, he has always provided an understanding and reverence to the aesthetics of traditional architecture and its cultural relevance. Mr. Wang began teaching at the Boston Architectural College in 2003, with a special focus toward interdisciplinary cooperation and design leadership.

In 2007, Mr. Wang established the ZNA Beijing branch office, and under his leadership, the team has been working on many large scale complex projects. Since then, ZNA has entered a new era in the Asian Market. Xu Wang is also a founding principal of AIM (Architects in Mission) international urban design and architecture competition, the first AIM international competition was held in 2010 and prize ceremony in Beijing. Currently it has been successfully organized for four years. The goal of the annual competition is to promote high quality design among worldwide architecture students and young professionals, at the same time as providing a stage for them to demonstrate their design gifts and abilities.

In 2012 Mr. Wang created the resort real estate lifecycle service solution, the SMART System, with internationally acclaimed comprehensive strategy experts. Concurrently, Mr. Wang is actively participating in the formulation of standards for resort property brand strategies.
