The Liaoning Media City is located in the southeast part of Changbai Island in the Hunnan New District of Shenyang, covering a 21.5 hectare site. The total investment of the project is RMB 5 billion. The Liaoning Media City includes a symbolic Radio and Television Station Building, a theater which can hold NBA-level basketball games and ice Disney shows, a shopping mall, a public center, a film museum, an art gallery, a fantasy film city, a multimedia production center, and a 5 star hotel and serviced apartment. It will become a new landmark in Shenyang with a media arts theme.
