Location: Yunnan, China

Site Area: 7.0 ha

Building Area: 40,113 sqm

Client: Yunnan YMCI Group

The Phase 2 (2) project of the Chengjiang Eagle Land Tourist Resort in Yunnan is situated on the eastern slope of Mount Taiyang, overlooking the beautiful Fuxian Lake to the west. Fuxian Lake, as the second-largest freshwater lake in China, is designated as a provincial-level tourist resort by the Yunnan Provincial People's Government and a key area for the upgrade of Yunnan's tourism industry. The project boasts unique natural resources of mountains and waters, enjoying exceptional regional advantages, making it an ideal place to build a harmonious coexistence between humans and nature for tourism and leisure. The master plan ingeniously integrates life and architecture into the natural surroundings. The central landscape crown serves as the green lung of the entire resort community and a focal point for leisure experiences. Each resort cluster, based on the terrain, develops a layout with two or three terraces, creating interesting and open-view vacation residences with flat or staggered designs. Various clusters form neighborhood units with pleasant internal street scales and convenient connections to external main and branch roads.

The architectural planning adheres to the principles of sustainable development, fully embodying the characteristics of green architecture. This project aims to create a leisurely and environmentally friendly green destination, providing a new experience for both tourists and residents. The focus is on transforming this community, grown from the land, into a world-class tourist destination that actively responds to the surrounding natural environment.
