To accommodate the pressing needs of a new campus, King Abdul Aziz University, in the early eighties launched an extension program in a series of construction packages. Package VI represents the Girl’s College with six different academic facilities ranging from the College of Medicine, College of Science, College of Computer Sciences and School of Administrative Sciences. Apart from quality, the client required speed and economy. For the project, with a program area of 350,000 square feet, all design work and construction documents were delivered to the client within four months.
