Location: Beijing, China
Building Area: 1,867 sqm
Client: BBMG Group
The design of the common areas in the guesthouse extends the arches from the building's exterior galleries and windows into the interior, forming symbolic elements that shape the internal space with natural forms. The layered and rhythmic arch structures bring a sense of harmony and beauty. Preserving exposed walls creates a contrast between new and old materials, complemented by the combination of red bricks, gray bricks, terrazzo, and fabric ceilings.
The corridors in the guest room lobby follow the design concept of "winding paths leading to secluded spaces", creating a suddenly bright and open space. The interior of the rooms adopts a Chinese style, with tones of gray, red, and wood harmonizing with the design of the common areas. Chinese-style decorations with a theme of traditional opera enhance the artistic atmosphere of the space. Attention to detail in the design provides residents with a rich visual and tactile experience.
