Like many primary schools in China, the campus of Beijing 71st Elementary School is currently in the stage of meeting basic functional needs. However, it falls short in considering the physiological and psychological needs of children at different ages during the primary school stage. The campus culture is overly serious, lacking in childlike fun. In response to the complex situation and limitations of various ages in the school and with a focus on the long-term development of the campus, the project team optimized the campus space by addressing overall issues and root causes.

To echo the maritime culture of the campus, the presentation of the "Dream Road" and "Dream Boat" theme scenes is introduced. The addition of the "Exploration Journey" game encourages children to unleash their nature in outdoor spaces, promote social interaction, and create a lively campus filled with laughter. The inclusion of green spaces aims to achieve a vibrant campus, while the addition of color and expressive structures contributes to a completely refreshed school environment.
